Configuring Service Engine Ingress Rules for Virtual Service Ports

This rule is required to allow ingress for data traffic for all virtual service ports.

To allow ingress for data traffic (for ports 4000-5000):

Procedure

1. In the Create a firewall rule screen, select Ingress as the Direction of traffic and Allow as the Action on match.
2. Select the type of target from Target Type drop-down list to apply the firewall rules only to the selected instances within the virtual network. Based on the type pf target selected, you can specify the source filter ranges, or tags, ot service account scope details.
3. Select Specified protocol and ports option in Protocols and ports and enter the TCP, UDP ports to which the firewall rules are applicable.
4. Click Create button.
