Configuring Tier-1 Locale-service

This section discusses the steps to configure a non-default customized Tier-1 locale-service.

If the T1 Gateway to which Service Engines providing Preserve Client IP are attached has been explicitly configured through the NSX API with a user-defined (non-default) locale-service, follow the steps below to specify this locale-service within the NSX-T Cloud configuration. This additional configuration step is not required if the T1 Gateway is using the “default” locale-service. This option is available in the CLI (Configure cloud > nsxt_configuration > data_network_config > tier1_segment_config > manual > tier1_lrs).
