The script can run on the NSX Advanced Load Balancer Controller node whose management IP address changed, or on another NSX Advanced Load Balancer Controller node within the same cluster.

Note:

Before running the script, make sure that new IPs are working on all nodes and are reachable across nodes. If one or more IPs are not accessible, the script makes a best-effort update, but upon restoring connectivity, there is no guarantee the cluster will be back in sync.

The script must run on one of the nodes that is in the cluster. If the script is run on a node that is not in the cluster, the script will fail. The following is the list of parameters:

  • -i ipaddr: Specifies the new IP address of the node on which the script is run.

  • -o ipaddr: Specifies the IP address of another node in the cluster.

  • -m subnet-mask: If the subnet also changed, use this option to specify the new subnet. Enter the mask in the following format: 255.255.255.0

  • -g gateway-ipaddr: If the default gateway also changed, use this option to specify the new gateway.

Note:

The -m and -g options apply to all IP addresses in the cluster.
