It is not required to update the license on each node in an NSX Advanced Load Balancer Controller Cluster. The leader node in a Controller Cluster pushes its license to the remaining (follower) nodes. The leader node license in the NSX Advanced Load Balancer Controller Cluster can be updated using the NSX Advanced Load Balancer UI.

Updating an existing license follows the same process as adding a new license. When a license file has the same license ID (with an updated limit and expiration date), uploading this license file will update the existing entry in place.

Navigate to Administration > Licensing to update the existing license on a leader node in a Controller Cluster.
