Configuring Network Profile for DSR over TCP and UDP using UI

Network profiles for DSR over TCP and UDP can be created using NSX Advanced Load Balancer UI. Log in to the UI and follow the steps mentioned below.

Procedure

1. Navigate to Templates > Profiles > TCP/UDP. Click Create to create a new TCP profile or select the existing one to modify.
2. Provide the desired name and select TCP Fast Path as Type. Select the following options:
   1. Enable check box for Enable DSR.
   2. Use the drop-down menu for DSR Type and select L2 or L3 as per the requirement.
   3. Select IPinip/Gre as the option for DSR Encapsulation Type.
3. For UDP fast path profile, select UDP Fast Path as Type. Select the following options:
   1. Enable check box for Enable DSR.
   2. Use the drop-down menu for DSR Type and select L2 or L3 as per the requirement.
   3. Select IPinip/Gre as the option for DSR Encapsulation Type.
