Effects of changing user credentials in OpenStack Cloud Configuration

After each edit, the NSX Advanced Load Balancer Controller performs synchronization or rediscovery with the OpenStack cloud.

The NSX Advanced Load Balancer Controller needs to re-establish connections to the existing OpenStack clients for each tenant using the new user credentials as the OpenStack clients access the OpenStack services on the NSX Advanced Load Balancer Controller. During the re-establishment process, response to the incoming request is also affected.

Due to the above, response to any REST API call that requires information from the OpenStack cloud is delayed. Performance degradation of the NSX Advanced Load BalancerREST API related to the OpenStack cloud is also observed. It is recommended to perform user-credential-related changes during a maintenance window.
