Tech support logs are used for offline troubleshooting. The following section describes how to collect tech support logs from a single NSX Advanced Load Balancer Controller or three-node NSX Advanced Load Balancer Controller cluster.

A complete list of tech support log types is listed in the last section of this article. Debuglogs, serviceengine, or virtualservice are the most requested types by Support personnel.

Note:

In a three-node Controller cluster, the following steps are for automatically collecting logs from all the three nodes. The commands need not be entered separately on each NSX Advanced Load Balancer Controller node.
