Enhancements (Feb 6, 2018)

  • Support for additional operating systems. NSX Cloud now supports the following operating systems:

    • Ubuntu 14.04, 16.04

    • RHEL 7.2, 7.3, 7.4

    • OLES 7.2, 7.3, 7.4

    • CentOS 7.2, 7.3, 7.4

    • Windows Server 2012 R2

  • All your custom AWS tags discovered by NSX. NSX Cloud displays the AWS tags for your NSX-managed workload VMs. You can now use your existing AWS tags to manage microsegmentation and other workflows.

  • Support for Port Mirroring, Hitless Failover, and NSX Edge Firewall (overlay). Several NSX-T features are fully supported in this release.

Enhancements (Dec 8, 2017)

  • Contextually relevant help topics displayed in the sidebar Click the help icon in the navigation bar to view help topics relevant to your current task.

  • Auto-logoutIf you are inactive for five minutes, you are logged out of the system. A warning is presented at four minutes. This enhances the system's security.

  • Search feature in NSX Manager You can use the same search feature in NSX Manager that is available in the on-premise version.

  • New icons: New icons represent the possible states of workload VMs and the Public Cloud Gateway (PCG).

Enhancements (Oct 17, 2017)

  • Chat support: Engage with VMware Technical Support via instant chat and get answers to your questions in real-time.

  • Easy access to the Tech Support Bundle: Invoke the tech support bundle from CSM.

  • Org Switching: Seamlessly switch between organizations you are a part of without having to log back in.

  • New CloudFormation template for compute VPC creation: Use the CloudFormation template from the NSX Cloud Dashboard to create a compute VPC with all the required components and settings for NSX Cloud.
