Error and Exception Handling

At the task or subtask level, an exception is raised if any error occurs during migration. The handled exception method is explained in this section.

The NSX Migration for VMware Cloud Director handles exceptions that occur in tasks or subtasks and logs the traceback in the log file for debugging. The exception error appears on the console so that providers can identify the failure.

If any known warning occurs during the migration process, the NSX Migration for VMware Cloud Director ignores it and proceeds with the migration. The warning messages are displayed in the console to inform the provider that these warnings are ignored.
