Working with Logs

The logger has two stream handlers to log the migration-related tasks in the log file and the command-line console.

The following logging levels are used:

• Debug
• Info
• Error

You can view the log files on the following path:

<directory>\logs\<VCD IP/FQDN>\Migration\<OrgName>-VCD-NSX-Migrator-Main-DD-MM-YYYY-HH-MM-SS.log

Additionally, a separate log file <OrgName>-VCD-NSX-Migrator-Main.log has been created to capture the summary logs for NSX Data Center for vSphere organization VDC, NSX-T Data Center organization VDC and its networks, edge gateways, vApps, and so on, as per the following format:
