Within certain limitations, you can migrate vSphere Distributed Switches that are not part of an NSX Data Center for vSphere environment.
Required Software and Versions

- vSphere Distributed Switch version 6.5.0 and 6.6.0 are supported.
Limitations and Recommendations
If your current vSphere implementation uses vSphere Distributed Switch version 7.0, migration to NSX-T Data Center version 3.x is not supported.
It is recommended you install NSX-T Data Center separately and configure it to use with your current vSphere implementation.
