You can configure DNS zones for your DNS service. A DNS zone is a distinct portion of the domain name space in DNS.
Procedure
- With admin privileges, log in to NSX Manager.
- Select .
- Click the DNS Zones tab.
- To edit a default zone, click next to the object you want to edit and click Edit.
- Enter a name and optionally a description.
- Enter the IP address of up to three DNS servers.
- (Optional) Enter an IP address in the Source IP field.
- To edit an FQDN zone, click next to the object you want to edit and click Edit.
- Enter a name and optionally a description.
- Enter a FQDN for the domain.
- Enter the IP address of up to three DNS servers.
- (Optional) Enter an IP address in the Source IP field.
- Click Save.
