Delete NSX Application Platform Appliance

To discontinue using the NSX Application Platform, you can delete the deployed appliance from the VMware vCenter environment.

Prerequisites

• Verify that you have a deployed NSX Application Platform instance.

• Remove any activated NSX features on the NSX Application Platform.

Procedure

1. From your browser, log in with Admin privileges to NSX Application Platform Automation Appliance at https://<nsx-application-platform-automation-ip-address>.
2. In the Deployment Wizard page, click Start.
3. Navigate to the Deploy NAPP tab and click Cleanup.

   This operation removes all the NSX Application Platform artifacts.

4. Navigate to the Deploy TKG tab and click Cleanup.

   This action removes the vSphere with Tanzu artifacts.

5. Log in to the vSphere Client with admin privileges.
6. Select Home > Hosts and Clusters.
7. Right-click on your NSX Application Platform Automation Appliance VM and select Power > Shut Down.
8. Select Delete from Disk > Yes.
   Caution: The VM is permanently deleted. This operation is not reversible.
