Unresponsive Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Deployment

The Tanzu Kubernetes Grid deployment is not responding for more than three hours.

Problem

The Tanzu Kubernetes Grid deployment is unresponsive at the Activate TKGs supervisor Cluster stage for more than three hours without a timeout.

Cause

The Supervisor cluster creation might be taking longer than expected. In the /var/log/napp/ log file, you can see the following entry.

"{"function":"GetWCPClusterStatus","level":"debug","msg":"Time exceeded while waiting for Supervisor Cluster creation","time":"2023-11-27T08:40:54Z"}" 

Solution

1. In the NSX Application Platform Automation Appliance deployment wizard, click Stop.
   The stop operation terminates the deployment workflow, without undoing any previous actions.
2. Click Update & Redeploy to redeploy Tanzu Kubernetes Grid.
3. Redeploy after removing all the previous Tanzu Kubernetes Griddeployment tasks.
   1. Click Cleanup to remove all the previous deployment tasks.
   2. Click Update & Redeploy to redeploy Tanzu Kubernetes Grid.

      The Tanzu Kubernetes Grid deployment completes successfully.
