Browse the Default Inventory Drive

You can browse the default inventory drive and view its contents.

Note: For more information about the Inventory Provider and the default inventory drive, see Using the PowerCLI Inventory Provider.

Prerequisites

Verify that you are connected to a vCenter Server system.

Procedure

1. Navigate to the vi inventory drive.

   cd vi:

2. View the drive content.

   dir

   dir is an alias of the Get-ChildItem cmdlet.
