About this Guide

This guide describes the VMware Private Mobile Network™ (PMN) architecture that includes VMware Edge Compute Stack (ECS), VMware Private Mobile Network Orchestrator™(PMNO), VMware Private Converged Core (PCC), Airspan radio (also referred to as AP or RAN in this guide), and Airspan radio Element Management System (EMS) (also referred to as ACP – Airspan Control Platform).

This guide consists of network interfaces, key configuration, deployment approach, performance, security, and scalability aspects among the vertically integrated components of PMN.
