Depending on the size of your organization, you can have hundreds or thousands of users. While users are unique, their access requirements can be similar based on their work function.

That is why the preceding section on groups is critical. Group mappings greatly simplify configuration management for the SD-WAN Client solution.

  1. The first user is known to the system as the account Owner. While this is a special account designation for the solution's management, note that this user is not assigned to the Operators group. That means this person will not have access to factory assets according to the network configurations that will be made in an upcoming section.
  2. The second user is a standard user that only uses the Client app to access resources on the private network. This user is assigned to the Operators group, therefore, will have access to the remote services in the factory required to perform their job. The network configuration for this will be covered in an upcoming section.
