VMware Cloud Foundation inventory details include object type, name, version, and build number.

VMware Cloud Foundation inventory displays the domain type (management, workload), and build number for SDDC Manager, and associated VMware Cloud Foundation components, such as vSphere and NSX-T.

You can also filter based on an object type. Select the check box next to the object type that you want to filter by, then click Apply.

Note:

  • Version and build number for VMware Cloud Foundation components will not be visible if the product has not been added to a Skyline Collector. Additionally, Log Assist will not be available for the product if it has not been added to a Skyline Collector.

  • Products configured under VMware Cloud Foundation are not listed as an endpoint under product-specific inventory.

To view VMware Cloud Foundation inventory details, follow these steps:

Prerequisites

  • Added SDDC Manager to a Skyline Collector.

  • Added VMware Cloud Foundation components, such as vCenter Server, NSX-T Manager, and vRealize Operations Manager to a Skyline Collector.

Procedure

  1. Within Skyline Advisor, click the Inventory tab.
  2. Under Inventory (left-hand panel), click VMware Cloud Foundation.
