To begin the initial configuration of the Skyline Collector, you must first power on the Skyline Collector virtual appliance.

To power on the Skyline Collector virtual appliance:

Prerequisites

To access the Skyline Collector, you need the Skyline Collector FQDN or the IP address.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the vSphere Client.
  2. Right-click on the Skyline Collector virtual appliance you deployed. Select Power and then select Power on.
  3. View the IP address of the Skyline Collector on the Summary tab in the vSphere Client. Refresh the vSphere Client to view the IP address of the Skyline Collector after powering it on.

Results

The Skyline Collector virtual appliance is powered-on. You can access it through a web-browser.
