Adding External User

You may want to add the users from existing VMware vCenter Server users or from the LDAP server.

Prerequisites

• Verify that you have the credentials for VMware Skyline Health Diagnostics.

• Verify that you have the credentials for VMware vCenter Server.

Procedure

1. Log into the VMware Skyline Health Diagnostics UI using the supported Web browser.
2. In the top-menu, click Settings tab.
3. In the left pane, select User Management and click External User tab.
4. Click the Add user button to add external user from VMware vCenter Server or LDAP.
5. Enter the User Name, Email Id, Full Name, and vCenter Server/ESXi Server Hostname or IP address in Provider field.
6. Click Submit.

Results

External user will be added to the list.
