Configure trap forwarding to Active and Standby Trap Adapters

To forward traps from the Trap Exploder to Active and Standby Trap Adapters, perform these steps on both Active and Standby Trap Exploder:

1. From the <BASEDIR>/SAM/smarts/bin directory, type:

   ./sm_edit ../conf/trapd/trapd.conf
   

2. Add the following forwarding line:

   FORWARD: *.*.*.* .* * * <host1>:162 <host2>:162
   

3. Save the file and exit.
