Adapter Platform

The VMware Smart Assurance Service Assurance Manager Adapter Platform (Adapter Platform) imports and normalizes topology from IP Availability Manager; and imports and normalizes events of interest from VMware Smart Assurance adapters.

Normalizing means converting topology or event information into a common form understood by the Application Connectivity Monitor.

To transfer notifications and topology from the

• Adapter Platform to the Global Manager - No changes are necessary in the Adapter Platform’s configuration file.
• Adapter Platform to the ACM Domain Manager - No changes are necessary in the Adapter Platform.
