Integrating with Third-Party Adapters

Adapters can augment the discovery and monitoring performed by Application Connectivity Monitor by providing additional application topology and events. The adapters normalize events from third-party agents into notifications in the Service Assurance Management suite Adapter Platform. These notifications are then mapped to instrumented attributes in Application Connectivity Monitor to generate symptoms in the application topology. The symptoms are then correlated in context of the complete application topology and other symptoms in Application Connectivity Monitor to provide root cause definitions for the application problems.
