Set up the MPLS Management Suite

1. At MPLS_BASEDIR/smarts/bin, enter the following command:

   sm_edit conf/mpls-t/mpls.conf
   

2. There are two parameters, named:

   peek Vendor ~Alcatel
   #peek Vendor ~Alcatel
   

3. Enter the following command:

   sm_edit conf/mpls-t/mpls.conf
   

4. Locate the section, Instances of AM Server, and set the AM Server name to the IP Availability Manager server name. The VMware Smart Assurance MPLS Management Suite User Guide provides additional information.

5. Save and close the file.
