Set up the Multicast Manager

1. At MCAST_BASEDIR/smarts/bin, enter the following command:

   sm_edit conf/mcast/multicast.conf
   

2. Locate the section, Instances of AM Server, and set the AM server name to the IP-Analysis server name. The VMware Smart Assurance Multicast Manager User Guide provides additional information.

3. Save and close the file.

4. When starting the Multicast Manager, use the following parameter:

   --bootstrap=bootstrap-lite.conf
