Event messages

The Adapter logs JMS messages. The log file records the event type and EMS instance to which the message refers.

There are four types of event message:

• State changes

• AttributeValueChange events

• ObjectCreation events

• ObjectDeletion events

  Note:

  The EMS instance name does not map directly to an VMware Smart Assurance object name. “Mapping of SAM-O Elements to Smarts Objects” on page 71 provides details about mapping.
