External polling auto-configuration

This section describes the auto-configuration feature that supports external polling by the Alcatel-Lucent 5620 SAM EMS Adapter for the Availability Manager, MPLS Manager, and NPM Managers for BGP, OSPF, and IS-IS.

The auto-configuration feature creates a new polling group in each Domain Manager. Look in the Polling and Thresholds console to verify the presence of these polling groups after installing each product.
