Alarms and events received from the Alcatel-Lucent 5620 SAM EMS are processed by various VMware Smart Assurance Domain Managers ( MPLS Manager, Multicast Manager, IP Availability Manager, Network Protocol Manager for BGP, Network Protocol Manager for OSPF, Network Protocol Manager for IS-IS, and the Adapter Platform). Root-cause and impact analysis and diagnoses created by these Domain Managers are provided to the operator through the Notification Log of the Global Console, a component of the VMware Smart Assurance Service Assurance Manager.
