The SM_JDK_HOME environment variable is used to indicate the location of the JDK, if present. If you provide the location of the JDK while running the appropriate setup script, then the SM_JDK_HOME variable will be defined in the runcmd script.

Note:

If you are using a 64-bit version of the software, then you should set SM_JDK_HOME to the location of a 64-bit version of the JDK. Likewise, if you are using a 32-bit version of the software, then you should set SM_JDK_HOME to indicate the location of a 32-bit version of the JDK.
