Ultimately, for a field-certified device, you should submit a device certification request to VMware Corporation so that the device will be certified in future releases of the IP Management Suite. VMware Corporation will use specialized tools to make the certification more accurate, and will apply standard quality assurance testing to the certification.
To submit a device certification request, go to the VMware online support website and select Support. On the Support page, you will see several options, including one for making a service request.
To open a service request, you must have a valid support agreement. Contact your VMware sales representative for details about obtaining a valid support agreement or with questions about your account.
