Pending discovery

During a pending discovery, the MPLS Topology Server attempts to discover MPLS, VPN, and BGP topology by probing the devices on the Pending Elements list. The Pending Elements list contains the names of the devices that initially could not be discovered by the MPLS Topology Server.

You can view the Pending Elements list at any time by selecting Topology > Show Discovery Progress from the Domain Manager Administration Console. “Pending Elements list” on page 144 describes the various aspects of the Pending Elements list.
