Product installation directory

In this document, the term BASEDIR represents the location where VMware Smart Assurance software is installed:

• For UNIX, this location is /opt/InCharge/<productsuite>.

  By default,

  This location is referred to as BASEDIR/smarts.

  Optionally, you can specify the root of BASEDIR to be something different, but you cannot change the <productsuite> location under the root directory. The VMware Smart Assurance System Administration Guide provides detailed information about the directory structure for VMware Smart Assurance software.
