EIGRP impact analysis examples

The examples that follow show how Network Protocol Manager for EIGRP uses the relationships between the EIGRP objects and the underlying physical-transport objects to perform EIGRP impact analysis. In addition, the examples show how the Global Manager picks up where Network Protocol Manager for EIGRP leaves off to perform global impact analysis.

Keep the following information in mind when reading these examples:

• A router has multiple physical interfaces.

• A physical interface may have multiple EIGRP protocol endpoints.

• An EIGRP protocol endpoint has one and only one EIGRP session.
