Prerequisites

Before you can configure the VMware Smart Assurance Adapter for TMF 814, verify access to your EMS CORBA name server. You must have the URL for the name server’s Interoperable Object Reference (IOR), and the adapter must be able to access the name server via TCP.

Examples of valid URLs include

• file:path/to/ior/file/nameserver.ior

  • corbaloc::160.45.110.41:38693/StandardNS/NameServer-POA/_root

  • http://www.x.y.z/~user/NS_Ref
