When using the Global Console to view notifications, attach to the Global Manager (Service Assurance Manager) configured to receive notifications from one or more of the Optical Transport Manager Analysis Servers.
When using the Global Console to view optical network topology, attach the Global Console to an Optical Transport Manager Topology Server configured to receive.Attaching to the topology server also allows you to use the Map Browser to view the major nodes and connections in a physical map.
