VMware Smart Assurance Service Assurance Manager installation directory

In this document, the term BASEDIR represents the location where VMware Smart Assurance software is installed:

• For UNIX, this location is: /opt/InCharge/<productsuite>.

  The <productsuite> represents the VMware Smart Assurance product suite to which the product belongs. For example, on UNIX operating systems, VMware Smart Assurance Service Assurance Manager is, by default, installed to /opt/InCharge/SAM/smarts.

  Optionally, you can specify the root of BASEDIR to be something other than /opt/InCharge (on UNIX) but you cannot change the <productsuite> location under the root directory.
