To configure Secure Broker, edit serverConnect.conf and clientConnect.conf files in the BASEDIR/smarts/local/conf/ics directory.

Edit the serverConnect.conf file as follows:

In the serverConnect.conf file, comment out the following line:
<BROKER>:<DEFAULT>:<DEFAULT>:All

Modify the BrokerNonsecure setting as follows:
<BROKER>:BrokerNonsecure:Nonsecure:Ping

Add the following line after the BrokerNonsecure line
<BROKER>:SecureBroker:Secure:All

Edit the clientConnect.conf file as follows:

In the clientConnect.conf file, comment out the following line:
*:<BROKER>:BrokerNonsecure:NonSecure

Add a secure value as follows:

*:<BROKER>:<PROMPT>:<PROMPT>

where Secure value can be encrypted.
Nonmodifiable Service Assurance configuration files lists additional files used by the Global Manager. The files listed in Nonmodifiable Service Assurance configuration files should not be modified by the user.
