About the web console

The web console provides the same functionality as the Global Console, including the Topology Browser view that is not available as a viewlet. “Client requirements” on page 18 defines the client systems requirements.

Users can open the VMware Smart Assurance web console after you complete the following tasks:

• Start the VMware Smart Assurance Business Dashboard service

• Create user profiles and user accounts

  The web console is installed to the BASEDIR/smarts/tomcat/webapps/webconsole directory.
