To inform your fellow operators that you are working on a notification, you can insert your username in the notification’s Owner field. To do so:

In the Notification Log Console, select the notification.

Select Event > Take Ownership or right-click and select Take Ownership from the shortcut menu.
Your username is added to the Owner field and it is also recorded as an entry in the audit log.
The Owner field is informative; no additional rights are granted to the owner. Also, if there is an existing owner listed, you can overwrite it when you take ownership.
