IPv6 address environments

In environments where domains can have IPv6 addresses, domain names appear in the Manager dialog box with the text [IPv6] amended to the domain name. In IPv6 environments, two entries for each domain may exist; one entry for the domain’s IPv6 address and another for the domain’s IPv4 address. If either address does not exist, the connection for that address is not included in the Manager dialog box. You can only connect to domains displaying a status of Running. Where both IPv4 and IPv6 connections display a status of running, you can choose either of the connections. If you choose a connection that uses an IP version that is not available, a message appears notifying you that the selected protocol is not available.
