The term notification, as used in this document, is an VMware Smart Assurance event represented as an instance of the ICIM ICS_Notification class. The VMware Smart Assurance Service Assurance Manager (Global Manager) subscribes to VMware Smart Assurance events and stores them as VMware Smart Assurance notifications in its repository. Notifications are viewed in the Global Console.
