Using Option 2 to manually initiate discovery

Using this option, you initiate a VoIP Availability Manager discovery by starting VoIP Availability Manager, attaching a Global Console to VoIP Availability Manager, and issuing the Add Source command to add IP Availability Manager as a topology source.

When you add IP Availability Manager as a topology source, VoIP Availability Manager imports device topology from the IP Availability Manager and initiates its own discovery.

You use the Domain Manager Administration Console view of the Global Console to add one or more IP Availability Managers as topology sources to VoIP Availability Manager.
