The following conditions are required.
Install the Network Configuration Manager on a dedicated server and do not run other applications on that server.
Before you start the installation, ensure that you have proper FQDN set on the server where you are performing the installation.
To verify, run the hostname command and check if it is returning the server name with DNS.
Before you start the installation, ensure that no instance of Tomcat exists on the target machine.Note:
If an instance of Tomcat exists on the machine, you must remove it before proceeding with installation.
The following conditions are highly recommended.
Before you start the installation, run the prereq-check.pl script to verify that all of the Network Configuration Manager software prerequisites are met.Note:
It is strongly recommended to run the prereq-check.pl script on a server before installing any Network Configuration Manager software on that server.
