Make sure your system has the SOAP::Lite module installed, and can support SSL web requests. Then, create a new Perl script using the following steps.

  • Include the SOAP::Lite module
  • Set the host, user and password values
  • SOAP: Lite needs to know the web service’s target URL, and default namespace
  • Create an instance of the SOAP::Lite object
  • Make your first SOAP call
