Root Cause and impact analysis

The Server Manager provides:

• Impact analysis and diagnosis when a ScaleIO server is down. For example, it diagnoses when a ScaleIO host goes down (Host Down) and identifies the impact to a virtual machine which are hosting ScaleIO services.

• Impact analysis and diagnosis when any fault or performance issue happens in ScaleIO Management or SDS Network. For example, it diagnoses when a physical switch goes down which carries SDS traffic and identifies the impact to the ScaleIO services by showing Protection-domain Impaired event.
