OpenStack service discovery and monitoring

The Server Manager:

• Discovers all OpenStack components (services running on hosts).
• Monitors all OpenStack services status.

The REST queries can be used to establish the relationship between CloudController and the various hosts responsible for providing various services in OpenStack environment. OpenStack provides various services for virtualizing such as compute, network, storage, and so on. These services can be deployed in a distributed manner. It is helpful for administrator if ESM discovers the hosts responsible for providing the OpenStack environment. Once the relationship between the CloudController and the hosts are identified, you can use process monitoring features to monitor the critical processes.
