How to revert HTTPS mode to HTTP mode for M&R 7.5.0.3 installation

If you want to access M&R 7.5.0.3 in the HTTP mode, complete the following steps:

Note: When you install M&R 7.5.0.3, it is installed by default in the HTTPS mode.

Procedure

1. In the /opt/APG/Web-Servers/Tomcat/Default/conf/server.xml file, do the following:
   1. Locate and remove the entry redirectPort="58443".

      Before removing the entry redirectPort="58443", it appears as follows:

      <Connector port="58080" protocol="HTTP/1.1"
       connectionTimeout="20000"
       compression="2048"/>
       redirectPort="58443" URIEncoding="UTF-8" />  
      

      After removing the entry redirectPort="58443", it must appear as follows:

      <Connector port="58080" protocol="HTTP/1.1"
       connectionTimeout="20000"
       compression="2048"
       URIEncoding="UTF-8" />

   2. Comment out the following line:

      <Valve className="com.watch4net.apg.v2.gui.tomcat.ForceSSL" />

2. Restart the tomcat service.
3. Clear the browser cache, and then log in using HTTP.
