The “ipsla monitor responder” or “rtr responder” may not be correctly set on the probe target device. This will cause the probe to fail. The rttMonJitterStatsError metric will increase in this case. No other data will be provided in the performance metrics, aside from error metrics.

The probe configuration may be incorrect: check for discrepancies when setting the source interface, port, target address and port.
