Perform these steps on all of the Cisco call managers and gateways that require polling.

Procedure

  1. Enable SNMP on all Call Managers and Gateways that require polling.
  2. Enable AXL for the Call Managers that require polling.

  3. Obtain the CUCM DB schema version to be used with AXL requests.
    See the link cited in the previous step for information about the CUCM schema version.
  4. Obtain the Username and Password to include in the AXL/SOAP requests
    This information will be used during SolutionPack installation. (Refer to the CUCM Administration Guide for credentials.)
