VMware Smart Assurance Interoperability

NCM version 10.1.13 is part of VMware Smart Assurance. The suite components interoperate as described here.

Note: 10.1.12 IP and SAM are used for this NCM release qualification

EMC M&R	7.5.0.3 (If EMC M&R and SolutionPack for VMware Smart Assurance are used to manage notifications, you must use SAM 10.1.12 with Notification Cache). 7.5.0.3 provide the latest version of the SolutionPack for Network Configuration Manager.

Note:

To establish JDBC connection between M&R and NCM DB Server, postgresql-42.2.8.jar must copied to M&R server. Follow the below steps :

1. Copy postgresql-42.2.8.jar from NCM AS Server present under $VOYENCE_HOME/ncmcore/webapps/ncm-webapp/WEB-INF/lib to M&R Server under <PRODUCT_DIR>/Databases/JDBC-Drivers/Default/lib.
2. Execute chown apg:apg <PRODUCT_DIR>/Databases/JDBC-Drivers/Default/lib/ postgresql-42.2.8.jar.
3. Restart NCM Collector <PRODUCT_DIR>/bin/manage-modules.sh service restart collector-manager emc-ncm.
